I've heard amazing things about Keke's from coworkers, so when I finally went for breakfast with my husband, it did not disappoint.
With lots of seating and space, there was no wait for a table. I did the breakfast pancake combo, my husband ordered an omelette.
Let me just say, Keke's has the best and fluffiest pancakes I've ever had. They have lots of different pancake toppings to order from, I ordered the classic buttermilk.
The prices are incredibly reasonable, you won't break the bank bringing the family here. If you're in the Town Center are, this place gets two thumbs up! -

We had heard a lot about Keke's cafe and finally went to check it out. From my rating I obviously was not impressed
Food ordered in order of preference: Steak Omelette and potatoes, Egg Benedict, then fresh toast. The omelette was good and fresh but the potatoes that came with each of the meals could taste better. I neither finished it or took it to go which is a rare occurrence for me.
Love the Egg Benedict themselves.
We also asked for toast, which I would expect to come as a standard side for these orders but didn't, and also ended up being very dry and HARD. The server who I'll mention in a second didn't bother to include any spread or find out if we wanted any. Another item that was wasted and left uneaten.
The server was very ALOOF and seemed completely out of it. It simply seemed like he didn't want to be there that early. But why work at a breakfast place then. We even mentioned we were celebrating a birthday and he made no reference to that as if he hadn't heard
I did see other negative reviews about their service but simply hoped for different. This leads me to believe it might be a training issue.
All in all, I'd only return to Keke's if Another Broken Egg cafe right around it's corner has an unbearable wait time or is closed. -

Alright, so I went back! Took my husband (who has a sweet tooth) this time so I could try their breakfast items!
Sunday morning, about 10:30am, quoted a 30 minute wait, were sat in 20.
The young gentleman, I forget his name was very quick to get us going which I appreciated and he was super hospitable.
I ordered their classic Eggs Benedict which was pretty standard and good and my husband ordered a Pecan-something waffle which he also enjoyed(see pics!)
We both really enjoyed our experience all around. The server was great, we waited less than anticipated and we received our food within 15 minutes. In and out within an hour, AMAZING.
I'm thinkin' maybe the first time I went in was just their off day. Thanks! -

I thought I was a morning person until I opened the double doors at KeKe's. Hands down. KeKe's wait staff wins best staff of Jacksonville's breakfast cafes.
I felt as if I was a regular; yet, this was my first time visiting this specific location ever since they've expanded to Jacksonville, Florida. I was first introduced to their breakfast cafe adjacent to the Millennia Mall, in Orlando, Florida. Luckily, this location wasn't overflowing with hungry souls like their Orlando location.
Dining with a party of one granted me a window seat which included a great view of a beautiful Sunday morning. Perfect lighting for foodies (food selfies.) I ordered one of my favorites, the breakfast bowl which consisted of breakfast potatoes, scrambled eggs, spinach, diced tomatoes, and grilled chicken. It comes with your choice of toast but, I am not a fan of bread unless it's used to create a food item or dish such as pizza, doughnuts, or tacos.
I decided to be a little extra with my breakfast bowl by adding a side of salsa. With the salsa being a last minute addition, I had to request it from one of the passing servers who checked on me. Not only did they bring a side of salsa, so did my server who wanted to make sure I had all the condiments I needed to compliment my breakfast bowl.
Now, that I made myself hungry talking about KeKe's breakfast bowl and phenomenal service... it's time for breakfast. -

Nice concept but the portions are small for the price and food falls a bit short of my expectations. I ordered coffee, one egg scrambled, and the Pina Colada French Toast. I had hoped that the French toast would come with some kind of a tropical, perhaps a coconut syrup, but I had to ask for syrup and was given the typical Waffle House options of regular, sugar free, or maple. I chose the Maple which didn't have a very rich or even noticeable maple flavor. Even the coffee was a dark roast that was a bit bitter. With tip included my check was about $17.00, so I don't plan to return. Like I said, it's a nice concept but execution sure seems to fall short, especially for the money!
